Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay at the Archipel bungalows, which were beautifully decorated and offered plenty of space with a nice terrace. The local dining was a highlight, with fantastic food prepared by Mary Anne. While the private beach area and snorkeling were enjoyable, I did notice some maintenance issues that need addressing. Overall, it felt authentic and simple, perfect for anyone wanting a taste of real French Polynesia, but some improvements could enhance the experience.
My stay at the Archipel bungalows was a mixed bag. The accommodations were beautifully decorated with plenty of space, and I really enjoyed the private beach and great snorkeling opportunities right off the dock. However, the property felt a bit tired with several maintenance issues, which detracted from the overall experience. The dining was lovely but on the pricier side, and transportation was a bit complicated.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the bungalows were nicely decorated and spacious, they definitely need some maintenance. The location was fantastic for snorkeling and enjoying the marine life, but the service left something to be desired as it felt more focused on selling tours than on guest satisfaction. Overall, the charm of the property was overshadowed by the need for better upkeep.
The Large Bungalow - de l'Archipel has a lot of potential with its lovely surroundings and marine life like Manta Rays and tropical fish, but it is marred by the need for regular maintenance and some shortcomings in the facilities. While the air conditioning worked well and the outside seating was enjoyable, broken fixtures and a lack of attention to upkeep diminished my overall experience. Additionally, the restaurant is an uphill trek and far too expensive. I don't think I would return, given my frequent visits to French Polynesia.
My stay at the resort was quite memorable. The bungalows are unique and set up with charm, making you feel the paradise vibe of French Polynesia. I found the location absolutely stunning, with breathtaking sunset views and opportunities for snorkeling. However, the property does need some maintenance, and the restaurant was a bit far uphill, which made dining a hassle. Overall, it was a great experience, yet there are areas that could be improved.
